How about a 1/2 a spoon?  These earrings are made from an antique silver spoon that has been cut in half.  The piece then has been hammered to give it texture and has a lovely subtle pattern.  The earrings are 2 inches in length and the ear wires are 925 silver.  Fairly light to wear.
